Stabbing suspect denies murdering Christopher Harm in Brierley Hill

A man has denied the murder of Christopher Harm, who was stabbed to death near Merry Hill shopping centre in October.

Mr Harm, aged 25, was killed in Engine Lane, Brierley Hill, during the early hours of October 13.

Glen Elvin, also 25 and from Fern Avenue in Stanley, County Durham, pleaded not guilty to murder when he appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court.

He also denied being in possession of a knife in Engine Lane on the same day.

The defendant was remanded in custody to stand trial at the same court on March 28.

The hearing is expected to last up to two weeks.

Relatives of Mr Harm said after his death: "A loving son, dad and brother gone so tragically and a family left in pieces forever."
