A yellow warning for wind is in place between 10am and 9pm today (October 23).

Cannock’s market is closed due to stormy weather conditions across the region.

Bescot Promotions Limited have confirmed Cannock Market will be closed today (Friday, October 23) amid a yellow weather warning for wind issued by the Met Office.

The warning is in force in the West Midlands, Staffordshire and Shropshire between 10am and 9pm as Storm Austen brings a swathe of powerful winds and rain.
