Busy Black Country road closed after crash as bus services diverted
The diversion is only affecting Birmingham-bound services
A busy Black Country road has been closed following a collision this morning, with motorists being warned to expect delays.
The A4123 Wolverhampton Road southbound has been shut at its junction with Brandhall Road in Oldbury following the incident on Friday, August 28.
Drivers travelling through the Brandhall area are being advised to allow extra time for their journeys while the road remains closed.
The collision is also affecting public transport, with the 126 bus service being diverted in the direction of Birmingham.
Buses towards Birmingham are currently running via Brandhall Road, George Road and Bleakhouse Road to avoid the closure.
The diversion is only affecting Birmingham-bound services.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area where possible and expect delays while the incident is dealt with.
