Birmingham City University named headline sponsor of The Ladder Foundations Construction Apprenticeship Jobs Fair
As National Apprenticeship Week approaches, Birmingham is preparing to welcome one of the region's most significant career‑launching events.
The Ladder Foundation Apprenticeship Jobs Fair will be hosted in the impressive Atrium at Millennium Point in Birmingham city centre.
Headline sponsor of this year's event is Birmingham City University which is a recognised leader in apprenticeship training for the construction industry.
Its involvement highlights both the strength and the growing importance of apprenticeships in shaping the next generation of construction professionals. For students exploring their next steps, this is more than just a careers fair.
It is an opportunity to engage directly with top employers across the construction sector - many of whom open their apprenticeship recruitment only once a year.
With most vacancies launching specifically during National Apprenticeship Week for roles starting from June onwards, attendees will be among the first to hear about the available roles, requirements and pathways into a wide range of careers available.
The event offers a dynamic, face‑to‑face environment where future apprentices can ask questions, gain insights into employer expectations and discover the breadth of opportunities available - from on‑site operational roles to management, administrative, trades and beyond.
With Birmingham City University's apprenticeship expertise on hand, the fair promises to be as informative as it is inspiring.
The Jobs Fair will open to the general public from 2pm to 3.30pm on 9 February 2026.
