Group behind South Staffordshire Water win major global health and safety award

South Staffordshire Plc, the integrated services group operating within the UK critical infrastructure and essential services markets, has received a RoSPA Award, demonstrating its commitment to health and safety excellence. 

The 14-business strong Group that operates two regulated water utilities and a diverse portfolio of specialist businesses serving utilities and other essential service sectors won a gold Award in the Occupational Achievement Sector, demonstrating its dedication to keeping employees, contractors and clients safe at work. 

Now in its 69th year, and with almost 2,000 entries annually from more than 50 countries, covering over seven million employees, the RoSPA Awards are the world’s largest health and safety awards programme, recognising those organisations and individuals who have set the highest standards in accident prevention.
