Weddell Wynd is a large area of open grassland and young woodland. It is grazed by horses and ponies and is a good place to see butterflies. The Wednesbury Oak Loop Canal crossed the site and was still in use until 1961, when it was abandoned and filled in.
It is located directly on the geographic boundary line between Wolverhampton (specifically Bilston) and Tipton/Princes End.
