Black Country firefighters rescue three-foot snake after it gets stuck - in a keyring
Members of Red Watch came to the reptile's rescue
Firefighters are used to dealing with people in tight spots – but crews in Willenhall faced a rather more unusual rescue when a three-foot snake got itself stuck in a key ring.
Pepsi the corn snake was taken to Willenhall Fire Station by its owner this week after somehow managing to become trapped inside the ring.
Members of Red Watch came to the reptile's rescue and used specialist ring-cutting equipment to carefully free it.

Despite its unusual predicament, Pepsi emerged from the ordeal unharmed.
West Midlands Fire Service shared details of the rescue on social media, describing it as a "tight squeeze" for the snake.
The fire service said: "This week, a pet owner turned up at Willenhall Fire Station with their three-foot corn snake, Pepsi, who had managed to get himself trapped inside a key ring.

"Thankfully, Red Watch were on hand to help! Using specialist ring-cutting equipment, firefighters carefully released Pepsi, who escaped unharmed and presumably a little wiser for the experience."
The service added that while it was "not your average callout", the incident demonstrated the variety of situations firefighters can find themselves dealing with while on duty.
