Traffic warning in Perry Barr as top UK athletes come together
Expect additional traffic in Perry Barr this weekend as the Novuna UK Athletics Championships starts today.
Novuna UK Athletics Championships is taking place this weekend at Alexander Stadium in Perry Barr.
Transport for West Midlands have said to expect additional traffic in the area this weekend (June 20 and June 21).
In a social media post, Transport for West Midlands said: “UK Athletics Meet takes place this weekend at Alexander Stadium, Perry Barr. Expect extra traffic and pedestrians in the area, Saturday & Sunday 20 & 21 June. Plan your journey here https://brnw.ch/21x3vdm”
The event will see top athletes such as Cindy Sember, Keely Hogkinson and Dina Asher-Smith all competing for national titles and spots in the European Athletics Championships.
