The Duke of Cambridge is visiting Birmingham today in his third visit to the city in as many years.

Prince William has a busy day ahead with four royal engagements planned. He will be visiting:

  • The Hall of Memory at Centenary Square Birmingham, where he will unveil Paving Stones in honour of local Victoria Cross recipients.
  • The Football for Peace initiative at Saltley Academy, which encourages social cohesion by using football to bring children together from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Bournville College to hear about the Diana Award which is an anti-bullying campaign.
  • St Basils, which supports homeless young people in the West Midlands, to hear about its partnership work with the NHS Trust to create affordable shared accommodation and apprenticeships.

Prince William's visit comes on the back of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh's arrival in Birmingham last month to officially re-open New Street station.
