This weekend, Birmingham Pride celebrates its 29th anniversary with headline performances by Katy B, Sigala, and others, alongside a new parade route due to ongoing works on New Street.
The annual event celebrates the LGBTQ+ community in Birmingham and the West Midlands.
There’s plenty in store for people to enjoy.

New route
On Saturday (May 23), Birmingham Pride will start at Victoria Square in Birmingham city centre at 11am, with the parade setting off at 12pm.
The end location will be at the LGBTQ+ Village (followed by the Birmingham Pride 2026 street party).
This year’s parade will follow this new route: Colmore Row, Victoria Square, Pinfold Street, Stephenson Street, Stephenson Place, New Street, High Street, Carrs Lane, Moor Street, Smallbrook Queensway, Hurst Street and Hippodrome Square.
This route diverts away from New Street due to the resurfacing works that started in January 2026 on New Street.
