Birmingham restaurant announced as finalist in The British Kebab Awards
Mr Souvlaki Birmingham, a Northfield kebab restaurant, has been selected as a finalist in the 15th Kebab Awards, competing in the Best Greek Restaurant category
A Birmingham restaurant has been announced as a finalist in the 15th Kebab Awards, with winners to be announced in February 2027.
The British Kebab Awards, founded in 2013 by restaurateur Ibrahim Doğuş, celebrate and champion the restaurants, takeaways, business owners and employees behind one of Britain's most popular dishes.
The awards involve 283 businesses across 22 categories and the businesses were selected from a record semi-final field of almost 500 businesses, after more than 6,000 nominations and over 40,000 public votes.

Mr Souvlaki Birmingham offers customers chicken and pork gyros along with souvlaki skewers, pitta wraps, Greek salads, tzatziki, and traditional desserts like ekmek kataifi.
The Northfield kebab restaurant is a finalist in the Best Greek Restaurant category with finalists being selected through a process combining a public vote, an independent panel's assessment and reports from food hygiene standards.
Ibrahim Doğuş, founder of the British Kebab Awards, said: "Reaching the final is a significant achievement, and this year's finalists reflect the talent and hard work of the whole industry from independent family businesses to larger restaurant groups.”
The awards ceremony will take place on February 23 at Park Plaza Westminster Bridge in London with the full list of finalists available here: https://www.britishkebabawards.co.uk/bka_finalists_2027.
