27 touching pictures show tributes to Liam Payne in Wolverhampton on second anniversary of his death

Flowers, heartfelt messages, soft toys and banners were laid around the bandstand

Fans travelled from across the world to Wolverhampton to pay tribute to Liam Payne on the second anniversary of his death.

Supporters of the former One Direction star gathered at the bandstand in West Park on Friday (October 16), with some making the journey from as far away as Essex, Hull and even Washington DC to remember the singer, who died aged 31 in October 2024.

Flowers, heartfelt messages, soft toys and banners were laid around the bandstand, alongside a special memorial plaque and a small red letterbox for fans to leave messages for the Payne family.

The emotional tributes came as organisers behind the '#justiceforLiamPayne2024' and 'True Justice LP' Facebook groups called for a permanent memorial in the city, with the bandstand currently only available for tributes for three weeks.

Here are 27 pictures showing the touching tributes left in memory of the Wolverhampton-born star.
