Man, 41, charged with murdering wife at Wolverhampton home
A man has been charged with the murder of a woman found dead at a property in Wolverhampton.
Anjanee Sandhi, aged in her 30s, was found at a house in Finchfield Road, in Finchfield, Wolverhampton on Monday evening (29) after being allegedly killed by her husband.
Shivinder Sandhir, aged 41, has now been charged with the murder of his wife following his arrest on Monday.
A West Midlands Statement read: "Our thoughts remain with her family and officers are offering support at this most awful time. Shivinder Sandhir, aged 41, was arrested on Monday, and is due to appear before Wolverhampton Magistrates Court later today (Wednesday).
"A scene remains in place while we continue with inquiries to help us fully understand the circumstances and extra officers will be in the area during the coming days.
"We are not looking for anyone else as part of the investigation."
