Provisional driver led police on a late night chase through Wolverhampton before having car seized
A provisional driver led police on an ill-fated chase into Featherstone which ended with his car seized.
Staffordshire Police's Road Crime Team were on Cannock Road, Westcroft, last night when a Ford Focus sped past without its lights on.
Turning their blue lights on police officers pursued but the driver failed to stop sparking a chase.

The Road Traffic Team posted on social media this morning (Thursday): "Ford Focus drove past our marked car on the Cannock Road, Westcroft with no lights on.
"The Focus then failed to stop and pursued into Featherstone before we caused it to stop."
Officers were shocked to find the driver did not have a driving licence when they asked for his details.
The team added: "Turns out driver had provisional licence & no insurance. Driver reported and car seized."
The traffic cops had spent their shift clamping down on car cruising and anti-social driving, patrolling hotspots to deter would be racers.
They posted on social media: "Burntwood and A38/A5 area of Lichfield we have been targeting anti social driving, fatal 4 offences as well as those who use vehicles to commit crime."
