Teenager, 17, arrested after elderly couple robbed in Birmingham
A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Bournville, Birmingham.
West Midlands Police were called to the scene of Bournville, Birmingham, following reports that a man and a woman in their 80s had a handbag and bank card stolen.
Following enquiries around the area, officers found that an attempt was made to use the bank card at a shop on Linden Road.

Officers managed to quickly identify a suspect and were able to trace him after being given information from a member of the public.
A West Midlands Police spokesperson said: "We have arrested a teenage boy in connection with a robbery in Bournville, Birmingham.
"We were called after a man and woman in their 80s reported a handbag and bank card being stolen.
"Following quick time enquiries, we found that an attempt was made to use the bank card at a shop in Linden Road."
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in Heath Road on suspicion of robbery.
The boy remains in custody for questioning.
