With National Caffeine Awareness Month coming up, new research from Reviva Coffee ranks Birmingham seventh among UK cities with the most independent coffee spots, with 274 cafés.

There's no doubt that Birmingham is a hotspot for most things - with it being the country's second biggest city - but where does The Black Country stand in the running? 

A busy and bustling gem of the region, Wolverhampton is full of quirky, trendy and growingly popular coffee spots across the city, so whether its an intense study day, catching up with friends and family or just taking a break from the daily grind, the city has you covered. 

So, here is a list of the some of the best coffee shops in the City according to TripAdvisor, perfect for the next time the coffee cravings come calling.

Situated in Fordhouses, The Brook Coffee Shop has a five out of five rating, from 379 reviews.

Lois C, said: "Dropped by for a sausage sandwich on the way to work on Saturday morning. I waited for it to be cooked and when it was handed to me I thought I had someone else's order because it was so big!

"I got to work and opened it, wow, it was the best Saturday morning sausage sandwich ever! I will definitely be going back for another one, loved it."
