A Staffordshire couple are in the running to be crowned Britain's Pub Shed of the Year 2026 after their football-themed garden bar reached the competition's final.
Tina and Rich Hibbs, from Rugeley, are one of just three finalists selected from more than 1,000 entries. Their garden pub, Hibbys, is packed with Wolves memorabilia and includes a beer garden, outdoor play area and plenty of space for entertaining family and friends throughout the year.
Originally built as a place for Rich to watch football and display his extensive Wolves collection, Hibbys has since become the venue for birthdays, family get-togethers and celebrations.
The Staffordshire pair are competing against The Pampered Chicken, created by Paul Brimecome in Portsmouth, and The Mucky Pub, built by Adam Cockroft in Wakefield.
The annual competition is organised by Two Fat Blokes Bar Sign Emporium, with the overall winner receiving £500 worth of prizes.
It is estimated there are now more than two million garden pubs across Britain, with their popularity booming during the coronavirus pandemic.
Ashley Turner, of Two Fat Blokes Bar Sign Emporium, said: "This is our sixth year running the competition. The quality of the entries makes judging harder every year."
The winner of Pub Shed of the Year 2026 will be announced live on Ngageradio.co.uk next month. Members of the public can vote online at pubshedoftheyear.co.uk.
