From paranormal investigators and UFO enthusiasts to celebrity guests and lovers of the unexplained, Himley Hall welcomed a gathering with a difference at the weekend.
The historic Dudley venue played host to X-Con on Saturday, October 17, bringing together people fascinated by all things weird, wonderful and mysterious.
Billed as the Midlands' only convention dedicated to the extraordinary, the brand-new event offered visitors the chance to explore everything from ghosts and UFOs to folklore, cryptids, conspiracy theories and the occult.
The convention featured a host of special guests, including Red Dwarf actor Chris Barrie, singer and actress Toyah Willcox, and paranormal investigators Chris Fleming, Jayne Harris and Andy McGrath.
Held within the grand surroundings of Himley Hall, the event brought together enthusiasts, researchers and curious visitors keen to learn more about the unexplained.
Visitors could explore unusual exhibits and stalls, attend talks and live discussions, and take advantage of celebrity meet-and-greets and photo opportunities.
