Zendure has launched its SolarFlow range in the UK, introducing a plug-in solar kit designed for homeowners and renters as energy bills continue to rise.

Zendure has announced the UK launch of its SolarFlow range, including what it says is the country's first 800W plug-in solar kit designed for the UK's new regulatory framework.

The launch follows changes introduced in August that allow compliant plug-in solar systems with outputs of up to 800W to be used across Great Britain. It also comes as households continue to face higher energy costs, with Ofgem's energy price cap increasing at the start of October.

The flagship product, the SolarFlow 800, is designed to offer a straightforward entry point into solar energy generation. Unlike traditional rooftop solar installations, the system can be mounted on the ground, a wall or a balcony and plugs directly into a standard household socket.

According to Zendure, the kit includes two solar panels, a microinverter and mounting equipment, allowing users to generate electricity for use around the home. The company says the system can help power everyday appliances and continue generating energy even during overcast conditions.

The product is aimed at a broad range of consumers, including renters, flat residents and homeowners who may not be able to install conventional rooftop solar systems. Because the system is portable, it can be unplugged and moved if the owner relocates, subject to any relevant permissions from landlords or building owners.

Bryan Liu, chief executive of Zendure, said: "The launch of our SolarFlow range, the first Zendure products available in the UK, demonstrates our commitment to bringing clean energy to more homes around the world.

"At a time when many families are facing the strain of rising bills, particularly as we head into the colder months, these products offer long-term, future-proof solar solutions that help reduce your home's energy usage, keep bills down, and support a sustainable way of living."

Alongside the plug-in solar kit, Zendure is also introducing a range of battery storage products for households looking to store energy generated from solar panels.

The SolarFlow 2400 AC+ is designed to work alongside existing rooftop solar systems, while the SolarFlow 2400 Pro can take solar input directly from panels. Both systems start with 2.4kWh of storage and can be expanded to 16.8kWh.

Zendure says the larger capacity could provide enough battery storage to power a typical UK home for up to two days, while also allowing households to take advantage of lower electricity tariffs by charging batteries during off-peak periods.

For larger properties, the company is also launching the SolarFlow 3680 Mix series, which starts at 8kWh of storage and includes a backup power outlet designed to keep essential appliances running during power cuts.

All of the battery storage systems are managed through Zendure's home energy management software, which uses AI technology to analyse household energy consumption, solar forecasts and electricity tariffs to determine when batteries should charge and discharge.

The SolarFlow 2400 Pro is available now through Zendure's UK website, while pre-orders for the SolarFlow 800 are scheduled to open on 2 November. Prices for the SolarFlow range start from £1,099.
