Wollaston Court, on Lower Rushall Street, comprises 22 one-bedroomed flats and 22 two-bedroom flats.

Gurpreet Bassi, chief executive of Bond Wolfe, said: “This is a substantial, vacant, freehold property that may be suitable for redevelopment – subject to securing the necessary planning permissions. It presents a rare opportunity in Walsall, and we are expecting considerable interest from developers and property investors nationwide when it comes up for sale in our auction in May. Our livestreamed auctions regularly see thousands of people logging on from across the UK and even from overseas, and a property such as this will prove highly attractive.”
