Every Spring, many people love to gather around to enjoy nature’s signs of the season that transitions the cold, harsh winter into the warmer summer months.
One such way, nature has its way of showing us spring has arrived is by its flowers blooming in spots that were previously bare.
Recently, I attended a lovely cherry blossom viewing at Oozells Square, in Birmingham, though admittedly it was rather lacklustre as it was a really rainy day. Nonetheless, the pretty pink petals of the cherry blossoms are a gorgeous reminder of the spring season.
Another lovely reminder is the sight of bluebells in bloom.
There are plenty of spots across the Black Country where these these bluebells are sighted at the end of April and into the start of May.
However, some UK woodlands are already bluebells due to a mild spring.
We’ve rounded up some of the best spots where you can see these bluebells in bloom in and around the Black Country.
