From just a few simple items such as a wooden frame, some clothing, and stuffing, Kinver locals were able to showcase a wealth of creativity during this year’s village scarecrow festival.
Locals enjoyed seeing the wide variety of scarecrows dotted throughout the village over the weekend (Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6).
From Ali G to David Attenborough, there were lots of scarecrows dressed up as famous faces.
Ahead of this year’s festival, Janice Godbehere, one of the organisers for the trail, told the Express & Star the team was hoping to see as many as 100 scarecrows this year.
“This is our fourth year of the scarecrow festival,” she said. “We’ve [also] got a little market with local traders putting on food and crafts.”
This year’s trail was sponsored by Cancer Research Kinver and the Enville Fundraising Group.
