Last chance to get tickets for Wolverhampton Literature Festival

Book lovers have until 11.30pm tonight to buy tickets for this year's Wolverhampton Literature Festival.

The literature festival is running from Friday to Sunday

The organisers have issued a reminder that even those attending free events must obtain a ticket in advance.

Visitors will be able to watch live performances, participate in workshops and listen to talks from an array of national and local celebrities.

Broadcaster and musician Cerys Matthews, local poet and hip-hop artist Alan (Kurly) McGeachie and Bhangra dancer Sohan Kailey are among the headline names.

Former Wolves and Nigerian goalkeeper Carl Ikeme will be signing his new autobiography Why Not Me in the city’s Waterstones on Saturday.

The annual festival, running from Friday to Sunday, is returning for its fourth year and many events have already sold out.
