Jools Holland to perform in Birmingham with Leo Sayer and Chris Difford

Legendary musician Jools Holland is set to return to Birmingham with his Rhythm and Blues band.

He will be joined by English-Australian singer/songwriter Leo Sayer for the tour, that is now in its 24th year.

Original Squeeze drummer Chris Difford will also perform at the Symphony Hall show.

Birmingham ska icons Ali Campbell and Astro of UB40 will perform on the tour in Guildford and London, but not in their hometown.

Previous special guests who have performed with Jools on his UK tours include the likes of Eddi Reader, Lulu, Joss Stone, Roland Gift, Melanie C and Marc Almond.

Jools is currently recording his next album which will focus on his piano stylings, some duets and collaborations with other top instrumentalists.

Jools Holland comes to Birmingham Symphony Hall on November 19 and 20.
