The two bands will come to Birmingham's O2 Academy this November as part of the headline tour.

York five-piece Shed Seven formed in 1990 and are best known for songs such as Disco Down, Getting Better, On Standby, Chasing Rainbows and more.

The band officially broke up in 2003, but reformed for a greatest hits tour in July 2007. Shed Seven continued to play shows around Britain periodically until releasing a new studio album in 2017 with the announcement of Instant Pleasures.

The Twang formed in 2004, and are best known for hit songs such as Encouraging Sign, Back Where We Started, Cloudy Room and Barney Rubble.

The band have released five studio albums and garnered national acclaim when the influential NME magazine produced an article on music acts in the West Midlands.

Shed Seven and The Twang will play Birmingham's O2 Academy on November 22.
