The pair took time out of their rehearsals to visit the Castle Hill attraction to meet Santa and his reindeer and elves.

Andrea Hales, Dudley Zoological Garden's marketing manager, said: "Santa’s elves have been busy over the last few weeks transforming the inside of the 11th century Dudley Castle into our Winter Wonderland grotto and we were delighted to have Su and Jeffrey visit to officially cut the ribbon and launch Christmas time at the zoo.

“Jeffrey was telling us how he visited the zoo growing up and Su was really interested in hearing about the zoo’s work and the history of the castle and we are all looking forward to seeing them both in the show."

Dudley Zoo's Winter Wonderland grotto is open every day until Christmas Eve. All tickets, which must be booked in advance, include a visit to Santa in his castle grotto and zoo admission.
