Rising rockers Collateral are coming to Cannock and Birmingham

They have proved popular with listeners everywhere so far, coming out on top of a 20,000-band competition to perform on the main stage of this year's Camden Rocks Festival in London and also having reached the final of the Ramblin' Man Rumble for a slot on the Rising Stage at Ramblin' Man Fair in Maidstone.

Fans will have four local opportunities in total to make their own minds up.

The first comes at Cannock's The Station next month on May 11, before supporting Bucket & Co at Birmingham's Actress & Bishop on July 2. They are then back in Birmingham alongside Staffordshire rockers PISTON at The Asylum 2 on September 20, before their second arrival at the platforms of The Station on October 19.

Collateral released their debut four-track EP 4 Shots! last year, and a new single – called Lullaby – is now available to pre-order and is taken from their forthcoming eponymous debut album due in September.

Lullaby will be released by Roulette Media on digital download on May 3, accompanied with an official music video. It is mixed by Grammy-nominated producer Romesh Dodangoda (Bring Me the Horizon, Funeral for A Friend, Stone Broken).

“Lullaby is a song that has the basic feeling of the world we all live in today - a world where you are told to dream big but, yet ‘be realistic’,” says frontman Angelo Tristan. “I’d be lying if I’d said we’re not a p***ed-off rock 'n' roll band like a lot of other bands out there. Lullaby has the simplicity, the power and emotion that you should expect to hear on Collateral’s debut album.”

As well as Tristan on vocals, Collateral are drummer Ben Atkinson, guitarist Todd Winger, and Jack Bentley-Smith on bass.

Tickets for the various venues are available from their websites.
