The temporary roles are up for grabs at its base in Green Lane.

New workers will start at the end of August, working through the busiest autumn months and Christmas.

Bosses are now bracing themselves for an influx of applications with the closing date looming on Sunday.

A large red banner advertising the roles has gone up outside the building.

Evelyn Morton, spokeswoman for TK Maxx, said the workers were needed for what is traditionally a very busy period.

"We are looking to recruit around 100 people to work in our business during the very busy autumn/winter months leading up to and including the Christmas period," she said.

"We have various positions available from full to part time so if anyone is interested, please drop into our processing centre and pick up a form anytime between 8.30am to 4.30pm on Monday to Friday."
