Much-loved homeware store closing at Merry Hill
Homeware store shares it’ll be saying goodbye to Merry Hill.
Homesense, a much-loved homeware store, has announced it will close its Merry Hill location next year.

The company has reassured its customers that this will not mean any changes for the remainder of 2026.
The homeware brand is a part of the TK Maxx company, and it is known for selling a range of home decor, kitchen and dining as well as a range of furniture.
The company shared the store in Merry Hill will close in early 2027.
The company told the Express & Star in a statement: “We regularly review our store portfolio to ensure our formats and locations continue to meet customer needs and support the long-term health of the business.
“Those reviews can result in different outcomes, including stores closing, transitioning to superstores, or continuing in their current format.
“We have decided to close our Merry Hill Homesense store in early 2027. But for now there is no change for our customers. We want to reassure our shoppers that our store continues to be exciting, and as fully packed with merchandise, as ever, and we continue to be fully committed to our customers.
“Our priority throughout this process is our people. We do everything we can to keep associates in the business, and where possible offer opportunities in nearby TK Maxx or Homesense stores. Our focus is on supporting our teams through this change and ensuring associates are treated with care and respect throughout the process.”
The store is located at Unit 1A, Merry Hill Retail Park, Brierley Hill, DY5 1SY.
