Merry Hill fashion store closes 'temporarily' – less than a year after opening
Merry Hill Shopping Centre has announced that one of its popular stores has "temporarily" closed - less than one year after it opened.

The Brierley Hill shopping complex has announced that upmarket fashion retailer Ted Baker has "temporarily" closed its doors.
The shock closure came as a surprise for shoppers, with the shutters remaining down on the store for the past few days.
Shoppers were left unsure of the shop's future. However, Merry Hill reassured them that Ted Baker has only closed "temporarily" but did not reveal the reason why.
A Merry Hill spokesperson said: "Visitor numbers and the quality of new stores opening at Merry Hill continued to go from strength to strength, however, we're sorry to hear Ted Baker has temporarily closed and we will issue an update as soon as we can."
The temporary closure comes after Ted Baker was acquired by Authentic Brands Group in October 2022 for £211 million.
The closure also comes after a swath of new openings flooded Merry Hill in recent months, including the new Nike concept store and chain restaurant Wagamama.
Family entertainment favourites Hollywood Bowl is also opening a new £ 3.7 million location in the centre on Monday, September 11, creating up to 40 new jobs.
