Hortons expands ownership at Anchor Brook in Aldridge with deal for 31,709 sq ft warehouse
The acquisition builds on Hortons’ longstanding involvement at Anchor Brook
Hortons has expanded its ownership at Anchor Brook Industrial Estate in Aldridge, Walsall, with the multi million pound acquisition of a fully let industrial warehouse.
The 31,709 sq ft property is occupied by family-run building and contents restoration specialist Farcroft Restorations on a lease until 2033.

Its acquisition builds on Hortons’ longstanding involvement at Anchor Brook, where it has owned and managed property for more than 20 years.
During this time, the company has invested in refurbishment and new development, with the estate now fully let. Previous developments at Anchor Brook include a purpose built 35,000 sq ft facility for Brennan Industries Inc and a Greggs outlet serving businesses on the estate and the surrounding community.
The acquisition further consolidates Hortons’ ownership at Anchor Brook, an established industrial location with access to the M5, M6 and M6 Toll corridors.
Steve Tommy, head of property at Birmingham-based Hortons, said:“We have had a longstanding interest in Anchor Brook and know the estate and the local industrial market extremely well. This acquisition was a natural fit, adding further scale to our existing holding in an established industrial location.
“The property is well located and occupied by an established local business. We look forward to working with Farcroft Restorations.”
Hortons was represented by Ross Cuthbert of Skylark Real Estate, with Ryan Meader of Cortex Partners acting on behalf of the vendor.
