Woman dies after being hit by car in Oldbury
A woman who was seriously injured following a collision in Sandwell this morning has been confirmed dead.
The woman, aged in her 60s, was taken to hospital after being hit by a vehicle near the junction of Wolverhampton Road and Albert Road in Oldbury just after 6.30am, and has now sadly died.
A 31-year-old man who was previously detained on suspicion of drug driving has now been further arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

He remains in police custody for questioning.
