Wolves would offer free coach travel for every single away game if they were in the Premier League, chief executive Jez Moxey has pledged.

Free travel has been offered sporadically in the past, while near neighbours Albion have done it 15 times over the years.

And Moxey, speaking during a discussion about ticket prices at the Wolves Fans' Parliament meeting this week, said the club would provide free travel for all 19 Premier League away games should Wolves win promotion from the Championship

"If we are promoted, one of the first things I will do is offer free coach travel from Molineux to fans for every single away game – we would be able to afford to do it," he said.

As for Football League clubs putting a cap on away ticket prices, as seen in the Premier League where tickets will be £30 from next season, Moxey added: "Clubs would not want to be restricted from setting their own prices because ticket revenue for Leagues One and Two, particularly, is much more significant than in the Premier League.

"I can't see there being a blanket ticket price for away supporters."

During the meeting, Moxey also briefly addressed the issue of Scottish midfielder Kevin McDonald being dropped from the team for the past two months of the season.

The chief executive said he wouldn't go into 'full detail' on the subject.

He said: "I don't know another club who would give a fan the chance to ask the chief executive this.

"I'm not going into full detail but Kenny (Jackett) preferred the other players he chose."
