It's the first time in the club's history they've drawn four successive blanks at Molineux.

And that makes eight 0-0 in total this season - seven at home - which equals a club record.

Jackett said: "It's not a record we want. Although it is better than losing games.

"We played some good football, particularly through James Henry who was our best player. He had a lot of freedom to get on the ball and create.

"We had clear-cut chances, but you need to put them away and we didn't. We have to keep looking to find the right mix and the winning equation.

"The positives were we played some good football and creates chances, but ultimately its a frustration."

It wasn't for a lack of trying from Wolves, who created several chances, hit the bar and had a shot cleared off the line.

But they were booed off at full time - and fans had showed their displeasure at being bored throughout the second half.

Jackett understood their frustration, but felt there were a few positives to take from the game, including the performances of Dominic Iorfa and Danny Batth at centre-half.

He added: "I felt our centre-back pairing was very good. It's the first time they've played together and there's a lot of promise in that partnership.

"Joe Mason got chances, which is good, and into good positions. When the goals do start going in his confidence will lift.

"If he's creating chances it gives us all encouragement the goals will come. He must continue in that vain."

Of the returning Jed Wallace, who came off the bench, Jackett added: "He has a lot of personality and linked quite well with James Henry.

"At times, he almost tried too hard and was desperately trying to create chances for us.

"Have I got time for Wallace and do I think he'll be a very good player for Wolves? Yes I do."

Teenagers Sylvain Deslandes and Bright Enobakhare both started a league game at Molineux for the first time.

Jackett said of the pair: "I felt we wanted to attack more from full back than we did against Leeds. Deslandes at 18 has, I think, a good future.

"Enobakhare coming in, it'll be interesting to see how he develops. He showed glimpses of his potential. It's something they can hopefully build on in the future. They didn't look out of place at all."
