The 18-year-old has moved to Molineux on an 18-month contract, with another year's option, and go straight into the under-21 squad.

Wolves have paid an undisclosed fee for the right-footed left winger, who has made nine appearances for the Robins.

It's believed a bid was rejected from Bournemouth for him last summer and he's been watched by several Premier League clubs.

He said: "This is a great move for me for the stage I am at in my career and my development.

"When I came here last Friday for the meeting and had a look around the facilities I was blown away by everything and by the plan the club have got for me.

"I think I can progress and improve my football here. I have been at Swindon's Academy from the age of seven right through to now at 18 and have nothing but good things to say about them.

"I feel like I really improved during my time there and it was just that last hurdle – going from youth team to first team – that I had reached.

"I made my debut for Swindon the day after my 17th birthday and I have made a few more appearances since then, which has been great experience for me.

"Playing in front of big crowds and getting that experience of men's football will help me as I am to push on here at Wolves.

"I think it is now a really good time to get this move and to keep my development going for the Under-21s and then pushing on to the first team."

Randall took advice from former team-mate Nathan Byrne, who joined Wolves for £1million from Swindon four months ago, about life at the club when he arrived for talks.

He said: "I spoke to Nathan when I was here yesterday and he had great things to tell me about the club.

"Looking at him in training and all the other first-team players here will help me learn more about the club and the style of play and then push on from there.

"I am coming into the Under-21 squad and am looking forward to learning how they play and getting to know the lads. It's then all down to me really to see how I perform and then take it from there.

"There is always a chance to go and train with the first-team and, hopefully, when I get those chances I can go and prove I deserve to be here."
