The Molineux head coach was delighted with the impact made by Le Fondre, after coming on a a substitute in Saturday's 2-2 draw at Ipswich.

Jackett said: "Le Fondre is a good player and he worked well with Afobe when he came on.

"Benik played well and was a handful but it was difficult to get him the chances until Le Fondre came on.

"When we did that and could spring Benik from slightly deeper it worked for us and he got a very good equaliser.

"It was a very good cross for the goal from Le Fondre who can also run from deep, as well.

"He changed the dynamic of the game with our shape and helped us impose ourselves more."

The Wolves boss also praised goalkeeper Carl Ikeme in overcoming cramp to battle through the match at Portman Road.

Jackett said: "Carl had cramp in his calves and hamstrings, even in the first-half.

"That is unusual for a goalkeeper but when you consider the amount of travelling he has done with Swaziland and Nigeria in the last week, I think that is the reason."
