"We've got to keep playing like that and results will come," – that was the verdict of Wolves midfielder James Henry after the goalless draw with Burnley.

Wolves were far better than they had been in defeat at Bristol City five days earlier, shading the clash with Sean Dyche's Clarets.

The result left Kenny Jackett's team 14th in the table with 19 points from their opening 16 matches.

And Henry said the players felt it was two points dropped after a much improved display.

"We're slightly disappointed we didn't manage to take all three points," he said.

"But we've bounced back tremendously from Tuesday night which we all agree wasn't good enough.

"The performance was there for all to see, we were a constant threat and were back to ourselves playing good football.

"We dominated for large periods of the game and a draw was probably a little bit harsh on us."

Inconsistency has threatened to ruin Wolves' season and they are now nine points behind the play-offs. And Henry called for more performances like the one seen at Molineux on Saturday.

"We're all professionals, we know our job is to go out there and perform week in, week out," he added.

"We're not going to get it right every week but it's how you react and this game was a perfect example of how to come back fighting and get the crowd on their feet again and make them proud to come and support Wolves.

"We wanted a 90 minute performance. There's been lots of times this season where we've dominated for 45 and not quite come out as well in the second half, and vice versa."
