Saville has impressed in the four matches he has featured in for the Lions so far, helping Neil Harris' team to three wins and a draw.

The 22-year-old's loan deal is due to expire after this Saturday's game against Bradford City.

Harris is keen to see more of a player who has become a key cog in the Millwall side in recent weeks, but admitted his fate will lie with Wolves boss Kenny Jackett.

"George has done well for us and he's enjoyed himself," Harris said.

"It's good to have him at the moment and whoever he's played in there with, and he's had three different partners in four games, he's done really well.

"We'll be a lot clearer on George's situation this week. It's down to Kenny (Jackett) in terms of what he wants to do with George.

"We've enjoyed having him, he has enjoyed his football, but we are very respectful to his parent club.

"We'd like him to stay, of course we would. We'd like to extend the loan but sometimes in these instances you make the request and it's down to the other club to agree."

Wolves have several players currently out on loan including goalkeeper Aaron McCarey, who has joined Millwall's fellow League One club Bury on a month-long deal.

McCarey returned from a spell with Portsmouth, where he played six matches, last week.

The Irishman made his Bury debut in the 2-0 defeat to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday.
