The Molineux head coach is up against new Nottingham Forest boss and former Wolves striker Dougie Freeman, Watford's Slavisa Jokanovic and Alex Neil of Norwich.

The winner will be announced tomorrow.

Jackett eased Wolves towards the Championship play-off places with four wins from six games in February.

They also found their goalscoring form to record a 14-5 goal differential.

The month began with a 2-1 defeat at home to Reading and included a 2-0 loss at Norwich.

But Jackett's men also enjoyed some big victories, winning 4-1 at Huddersfield and 1-0 at Cardiff as well as beating Rotherham and Fulham at Molineux, 5-0 and 3-0 respectively.

Their impressive run was halted in the first game of March as they went down 2-1 at Bournemouth on Tuesday but they remain just four points outside the play-offs.

Freedman enjoyed a fine start to his tenure at the City Ground with Forest collecting 16 points from 18 and averaging over three goals per game in spite of losing top scorer Britt Assombalonga.

Jokanovic's Hornets recorded five victories in February including three comeback wins away from home at Brentford, Bolton Wanderers and Leeds United.

And Neil has started well at Norwich despite being largely unknown prior to arriving at Carrow Road from Hamilton Academicals with five successive wins in February making him the favourite to land the award, sponsored by Football League backers Sky Bet.

The judging panel comprises former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, former Wolves striker Don Goodman, Football League chief operating officer Andy Williamson, League Managers' Association director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet football trading manager Paul Lowery.
