The 21-year-old, who has scored twice in five games for the League One side, was on a 93-day loan with the Cod Army.

But he is eligible to be recalled after the first 28 days and was loaned out on October 2.

The club haven't said anything about Dicko but rumours were circulating on social media that he hasn't trained all week.

Wolves' other striking options are Leon Clarke, who scored the winner in last weekend's 2-1 victory at Leeds.

There's also on-loan Hull City man Yannick Sagbo, who has failed to impress in his one start and two appearances off the bench.

Head coach Kenny Jackett said: "Liam's had a good loan spell, he's got up to speed with the games which is the purpose of the loan system and we welcome him back now as we head into three tough games.

"He'll increase our options along our front line. He's got a couple of goals in League One for Fleetwood and he's had a few 90 minutes.

"We're making sure we're as strong as we possibly can be going into a vital group of games against difficult opposition."

Cannock-born McAlinden has scored against Colchester and Doncaster and two of his appearances, including last weekend's 3-2 defeat at Preston, have been from the substitutes' bench.
