MK Dons and Coventry City today warned Wolves fans not to attempt to buy tickets alongside home fans for their forthcoming League One trips.

The Dons and Sky Blues have both put measures in place to prevent Wolves supporters buying tickets for the home sections in Milton Keynes on March 29 and Sixfields on April 26.

Wolves sold the last of their 8,000 seats for the MK Dons game yesterday with no further tickets expected to be made available to away fans.

In a statement to home fans, MK Dons said: "Supporters wanting to purchase tickets for the clash at stadiummk MUST be registered with the MK Dons Box Office database unless they have a MK, NN, LU, SG, OX, AL, CB, PE or HP postcode.

"New registrants MUST provide forms of identification, driving licence, passport or utility bill with proof of home address. These should be produced at the time of collection.

"Supporters can now only purchase a maximum of four adult tickets per person.

"No further tickets will be available for Wolves supporters, who have already been granted, and snapped up, an extra 4,500 seats.

"Away fans are also reminded that the club has strict vetting procedures and any successful attempt to buy tickets in the home areas will result in those supporters being removed from the stadium without refund."

Wolves have been allocated 2,000 tickets for the League One match at Sixfields – the Sky Blues' temporary home in Northampton.

And a Coventry statement said today: "Any supporter attempting to register with Coventry City but with no previous purchase history with the club will not be permitted to buy a ticket for this all-ticket fixture."
