Disgraced Jamie O'Hara could yet win a Wolves reprieve despite his spat with fans at Brighton.

moreThe £5m midfielder turned his back on supporters at the final whistle and stormed off the pitch while his team-mates stayed on to applaud the 2,000 following following the 2-0 defeat.

O'Hara had sarcastically raised his thumb when they chanted "£40,000-a-week, you're having a laugh" at him after he took his time getting to his feet as play continued.

Manager Dean Saunders said: "People who want to win sometimes can't control themselves.

"I'd rather have players like that but you have to handle them and manage them.

"Some players can't keep their feelings inside and people don't like the way they act."

O'Hara could still face a fine, however, as Saunders added: "If there was anything out of order, I'll deal with it."
