Third-from-bottom Wolves host Burnley knowing they could be all-but relegated if they lose, depending on other results, while defeat will guarantee the Clarets' safety.

This season Wolves have failed to beat both Burnley and last-day opponents Brighton, who need three points to guarantee a play-off spot.

But the boss has total confidence in his team's chances in the return fixtures.

"The main thing is we stay up and we're in with a great chance," he said.

"We've got to win two games and no disrespect to the teams we're playing, it's not Man United and Arsenal we've got to beat, it's Burnley and Brighton, and we're capable of doing it.

"We've 10 points from the last five home games, so there's nothing to fear."

Saunders plans to have watchers at the other games telling him the scores so he can make substitutions accordingly.

"We're having people at the games and we'll be on the phone," he said.

"If the score's level and the other teams are losing, there are decisions we have to make based on what they're doing."

Meanwhile, Saunders hit out at the timing of rivals Peterborough playing Sheffield Wednesday at 5.20pm tomorrow in the live TV game.

"Peterborough can watch the results come in and know exactly what they need to do," he said,

"They've got an advantage and if you're depending on results and all the other teams around them got beat, a point isn't a bad result for both of them. But if we win, it puts the pressure on them.

"It's not fair or right but we sold our soul to TV a long time ago and they prevail so we've just got to get on with it."

Saunders will give less-than-fit Bakary Sako until tomorrow to prove his fitness. "I'll make a decision tomorrow morning," he said. "Tomorrow will be six weeks since he did it, and we initially thought it might be 10-12 weeks, so we've had to take that risk."
