Wolves today announced the return of their Early Bird scheme — with prices again frozen, regardless of the stadium redevelopment.

Providing they renew online, adult season ticket holders behind the Molineux goals will again pay £370, while those in the upper tiers of the Billy Wright Stand and Steve Bull Stand pay £490 and £430.

For non-online fans, the costs go up by £19, £25 and £22 respectively. It means season ticket holders behind the goals pay £19.47 per Premier League game under the scheme, which is running for its 10th year.

All season ticket holders are eligible and more than 4,000 of them will make major savings having renewed in the summer.

Wolves are due to make a decision on phase one of the stadium redevelopment — the replacement of the Stan Cullis Stand — by early February.

If work starts, the club will notify season ticket holders in the Stan Cullis Stand and Jack Harris Stand flank about arrangements for their seats.

Season ticket holders will receive renewal information in the week starting February 14. The deadline for Early Bird renewals is Friday March 18 (5pm). Junior prices (under-17 and under-12) have been frozen for the fourth season in a row.

Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey said: "With the club's absorption of the VAT increase, it's an even more attractive offer.

"This special promotion has established itself as one of the best-value and consistent ticket offers in English football. The club's decision means that — regardless of the stadium redevelopment proceeding in the summer — our most loyal fans will be able to secure big savings for next season."

With inflation set to rise and VAT at 20 per cent, Moxey said the club has had a very difficult commercial balance to strike.

"Many commentators predict inflation to hit four per cent over the coming months and our costs are increasing as we strive to invest on and off the pitch to compete at the highest level," he said. "However, our aim is always to reward our most loyal fans."
