No rush for Ben Foster return

Albion goalkeeper Ben Foster will not be rushed back from his knee injury over Christmas, revealed the club's head doctor.

The 32-year-old is now back in full training after damaging his cruciate ligaments against Stoke back in March. But it could still be a few weeks until he is seen in the match day squad.

"It's been a long process for him and we just don't want to take any chances," said director of performance Mark Gillett.

"It's all positive, we just need to manage this last bit as carefully and creatively as we can.

"He's back on the grass, he's in training. I'm sure you'll see him in some guise in the new year."
