Albion's players love 'tireless' Salomon Rondon according to keeper Boaz Myhill, and they're desperate for the striker to start taking his chances.

Rondon terrorised the Tottenham defence on Saturday but for the second week running was left ruing missed opportunities.

If the Venezuelan had scored his header at Upton Park and managed to control Craig Gardner's cross at The Hawthorns, Albion could be on a three-match winning streak.

All three of his goals have come from his head, and with Saido Berahino out of favour, there is now more onus on the £12million striker to find the net.

"All the lads love him," said Myhill. "You've just got to watch the way he plays.

"It's tireless, his running, and he suits the way we play. He's getting his chances now and hopefully he can start sticking some away because it's the reward he deserves for the hard work he puts in.

"He's a great player, he's done really well for us."

Myhill himself is now looking over his shoulder anticipating the return of Ben Foster.

Out since March with a damaged anterior cruciate knee ligament, Albion's former number one is now back in training.

"It's definitely a strange situation going to pop up soon," said Myhill. "There's obviously three of us here now and everybody wants to play. We'll see how it goes, it's down to the manager.

"It's great for the manager to have options, it's what they want in every position. We've got it, so the ball is in the manager's court."

Meanwhile, Stephane Sessegnon has started receiving treatment on the hamstring injury he picked up against Spurs and is a doubt for Sunday's game against Liverpool.
