Even though Twitter has got Saido Berahino in trouble before, the striker still seems intent on having fun on the social network.

After playing and scoring for the under-21s on Monday night, the striker went on a tongue-in-cheek spree of 'liking' humorous tweets from Albion fans both praising and criticising him.

The first tweet singled out by the out-of-favour striker came from Lewis Dwane: "Albion under 21s lose their first game of the season when berahino plays...."

One of the tweets features a clip of a scene from Reservoir Dogs which involves a police officer being held hostage by an armed robber, while Stealers Wheel's Stuck In The Middle With You plays.

In the parody, Berahino's face has been superimposed on the police officer, while Pulis becomes the armed robber.

Some of the tweets Berahino liked were complementary, like Joe Dunn's tweet: "Shame how you get treated really, best player been left on the bench and being played for the U21, such a wasted talent."

Some of them were not, like Cam Duggan's: "I take it your leaving in January? have fun rotting on the Spurs bench as well."

A couple of them were quite funny, like the one that said: "Saido, like this tweet if Jeremy Peace is *literally* keeping you and/or your family hostage in his basement." Berahino duly obliged.

And one particular tweet from Shaun Biggs had a simple message which the striker liked. It read: "Free @SBerahino."

In the summer Berahino tweeted that he would never play for chairman Jeremy Peace again after Albion rejected four separate offers from Tottenham Hotspur for the striker.

Recently though the striker has been the model professional on social media, despite not starting any of the last four games.

He's posted photos of himself training hard and tweeted congratulations to the first team after earning a draw against Spurs on Saturday.

He even tweeted that it was "great" for him to be allowed to play for the U21s on Monday night in order to get 90 minutes under his belt.
