Tony Pulis has suggested that Stephane Sessegnon will be rewarded for his man of the match performance against Sunderland with another start in tomorrow's game against Norwich.

In the starting line-up for the first time in the league since April 4, Sessegnon was Albion's brightest spark in the first half, helping the team to their first home win of the season.

Explaining why he picked the Benin international, Pulis said : "We weren't getting enough down the sides of the pitch and against one of his former clubs I just thought he might play well."

And the manager gave fans a big clue that Sessegnon would be offered another starting place.

"If I was Sess I'd be really disappointed if I didn't play on Saturday," he said.

But the Welshman's decision to start the diminutive winger has probably been made easier by James Morrison's slow recovery from an ankle injury.

Morrison is the only injury concern for the Albion manager ahead of the trip to Carrow Road, .

"James is struggling, and that's a disappointment because he has got that quality that we need to open teams up.

"He's been away with Scotland and little bits and pieces like that don't help your team.

"We'll see, he trained yesterday but I still don't think he was comfortable so we'll have a chat today."

Meanwhile Rickie Lambert is getting fitter and working hard to force himself into contention for a place in the starting line-up, according to Pulis.

The former Liverpool and Southampton striker has looked off the pace so far this season, and subsequently finds himself behind Salomon Rondon and Saido Berahino in the pecking order.

Rickie Lambert of West Bromwich Albion

He hasn't scored a competitive goal for Albion yet, but Pulis suggested Lambert was nearing match-fitness.

"Rickie is getting fitter," he said. "The one big issue with Rick when he came in not having played many games for Liverpool last season.

"He wasn't as fit and sharp as he could have been."

But Lambert has reportedly been working hard behind the scenes to get himself back in shape, and Pulis praised his attitude.

"I think he's quite an honest kid," said the manager.

"He's been doing stuff himself as well to get himself fitter, hes a good professional Rickie."
