Matthew Maher reports on all of the West Brom latest on Friday, as forward Saido Berahino appears to back down on his row with the club.

He incurred the wrath of Baggies fans, first for quipping a threat to go on strike after a transfer deadline day move to Tottenham failed to come off.

Then the 22-year-old wound up supporters further yesterday, after posting a smug picture of himself on a private jet during his sabbatical.

He first sent a message which read: "Sad how I can't say exactly how the club has treated me, but I can officially say I will never play Jeremy Peace."

He's been given time off from training until Monday to get his head right and was included in the club's 25-man Premier League squad yesterday.

And Berahino appears to be coming around to their way of thinking after removing those tweets, although he still faces a fight to curry favour.

In a poll of more than 3,000 supporters on the Express & Star website, nearly two-thirds agreed the striker was a "snake on a plane" who should not return to the club.
