The right-back, borrowed from Liverpool, landed on Tuesday evening and had dinner with some of the team.
He then trained for the first time on Wednesday morning, partnering Jonas Olsson for ball work, before taking part in a mini-game, at Consumnes River College in Sacramento.
It's hoped he could feature in the second meeting with Sacramento Republic.
